Your home can’t get the cédula?
When a home has unpermitted works or fails a requirement, that has to be resolved first. We explain your options and, if feasible, take care of the legalisation or the renovation required.
When do I need an energy performance certificate?
It is compulsory to sell or let a home or commercial unit and must be registered with the regional authority. It is generally valid for ten years.
What is the habitability certificate (cédula) for?
It certifies that a home meets the minimum habitability standards. In the Balearic Islands it is required, among other cases, to connect or change utilities and to sell or let. It has a limited validity and must be renewed.
